What better way to start the new year than a little trip to Las Vegas? I haven't been there since 2004 and I was just seventeen. Let's just say things are really different! I brought quarters to use the slot machines, unbeknownst to me coins are now obsolete. They don't even have the hotel's labeled buckets to put your coins in! We got a great deal through Groupon for the Hard Rock Hotel. I was pretty excited because I have never stayed at a nice hotel. We usually stayed at Stateline, Jean, or, Circus Circus, which is fine with me, this just made it more exciting. I never realized how close Las Vegas was either, it took about three hours to get there. It was A's first time there, which made it a little more special for me. Ha. I love having vacation hours, I literally got paid for a days work, while I had Fat Tuesday's half-yards, walked for miles, and, just had fun. Our feet were seriously aching, on Thursday we ended up taking the monorail back to MGM because we couldn't walk anymore.
